He had her be comfortable, outgoing, loosen and open up in literally minutes.
I mean Irene who almost never cries, but he was able to be really understanding and empathetic that she had to fight back tears. And this was all only on the way to the actual show!Ofc I'm not gonna give him all the credit for her giving such a good variety performance (since her and the rest of RV clearly worked hard), but he and Eric were such great MCs and didnt revisit all the other same boring questions and gags most other variety shows pose to the girls (I think this might even be the first time ever they've had a variety appearance where her age isnt brought up).Another thing I found interesting was Joy's comments about her disappoint for how short their promotion cycles have been this year. And at first I thought - yass Joy drag SM in public - but then when they called that Kangta about the Joy's concerns, and he answered that its because its better these days to bring out fresh concepts quickly since trends are always changing, I thought it was interesting. I mean I dont know if I agree since I think Russian Roulette was pulled way too early for how well it was doing, but at least we now know the thinking behind it. And I wonder how quick they'll be given another different concepted comeback like he implied.Anyway, I think that was probably their best variety show appearance yet and it hasnt even finished yet.
A real shame Yeri couldnt be there despite Seulgi saying she wanted to come, but I'm glad they thought it best to have her focus on resting because she's bounced back as bright as ever. List of varietys:If your Bias is Wendy, I'd check out the episode of Problematic Men with Wendy which aired just before Russian Roulette comeback:She was cute af and the premise of the show is pretty interesting where they solve brain teasers.I will also recommend Today's Room. The episodes are on youtube:.Irene is also an MC on Laundry Day and Seugli and Joy recently went to be a guest on it:Wendy was a guest on it today I think, so I'm gonna assume Revelup Subs with sub that whenever they are free. The MV commentary vids are also great:.RR -.OOTN -I also recommend watching MV Bank:.RR -.OOTN -.Dumb Dumb -There's also a VLive show subbed called Picnic on a Sunny Afternoon -There's more but I think there's enough here to keep you going for a few days.
No lie, of fight or flight, Irene looked like she was ready to shank Yang at the beginning lol. Even the PD was making fun of Seulgi's third-wheel status, poor bear; but thankfully she gave us that Spring Love performance. I think Yang outed himself as a Joyrene shipper with that slip of tongue in the opening. I need to see magic dances of all those songs they used in the dance push & pull segment (SuJu Sorry Sorry & Kara Mister were perfect!) It also reminded me that I really want a Seulgi-Irene dance stage at some point. Part 2,!.
